This class covers the Boat Handling Course.

The course will be taught every Monday night, on the listed schedule.  The first 6 dates are instruction, followed by an overall review, and then the exam.  If you cannot make it to one or more of the instruction dates, you should be okay.  Please plan on attending the review and exam dates, as they must be done in person.

This is a hands on type of course but there is a teleconference option that will be used with our students who are not in the Houston area. After registration, to join the instruction online, simply click this link.

This is the course that starts your education with America’s Boating Club – Houston.  Whatever type of boating you do, whatever type of vessel you use – this is the course to start with!  The in-depth education for each topic sets the standard for your education.  Great course for new boaters, those boaters wanting to continue their education or refresh their knowledge; an excellent course for Girl Scout Mariners and BSA Sea Scouts and kayakers!  Attendees will get dual-credit: for the course and the 6-associated seminars, when the course is successfully completed.

There are no pre-requisites for the course.  It is preferred that the boater safety course be completed, but that is not necessary.  There will be no meeting on Memorial Day, May 29th, 2023.
