Boat Operator Certification – Postponed

Event Phone: 281-451-1146

This weekend program will include training and skills sessions for basic First Aid, CPR, and AED. There will be a skills session on flares and fire extinguishers. There is no cost for the flare and fire extinguisher part of the training, there is a small cost for the First Aid/CPR/AED course. You may attend either or both sessions.  This event supports the Boat Operator Certification program.  The flare and fire extinguisher events will take up to 2 hours to complete.

America’s Boating Club Houston offers the 1-day first aid, CPR and AED course taught under authorization of the Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI).  Certificates of completion will be issued to those completing the course.  The training is good for 2 years.  It takes between 6 – 8 hours depending on the number of students. There will be a break for a lunch when needed. You can either bring your lunch or go to a restaurant in the area. A book is not required, but may be purchased when registering for the course.  This course will meet all requirements of USCG EMCASI-202 Standard First Aid, CPR and AED as documented in “Course Approvals – Deputy Commandant for Operations – USCG”.

This activity is being postponed because everything requires face-to-face and hands-on activities.  The new date will be in mid-September or later.  Watch the calendar for announcements.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
