This class covers the Cruising and Cruise Planning Course.

This is a great “first course” to take.  It will be taught on the listed schedule.  This class is predominately done as a teleconference.  The first dates are instruction, followed by an overall review, and finally the exam.  If you cannot make it to one or more of the instruction dates, you should be okay.  The course typically takes 10 weeks of instruction and review and will help you prepare for the upcoming boating and local cruising season!  Please plan on attending the cruise presentations, review and exam date, as they must be done in person (typically 1-day at Home Port).

The Cruising and Cruise Planning Course will be comfortably taught in online sessions.  The presentations and the exam will be given and proctored at Home Port or agreed upon alternate location.

Registrants will receive detailed information about the teleconference connection and other pertinent information.  Students will be using an online meeting and video conferencing tool that enables collaboration between students and the instructor. Detailed instructions will be provided to students prior to the first class session.
