A weekend of education, socializing, food and workshops.
October 21 – 23, 2022 in Houston, Texas
The Conference is composed of District Bridge officers, past District Commanders of District 21 who remain active members of District squadrons, and delegates. The Conference is open to all member of America’s Boating Club and attendance is encouraged.
The Fall Conference is the education conference, and there will be selections of training aids for the national competition and for recognition of Squadron-level educators. Want to learn more about the US Power Squadron District 21? Click here!
This conference will have a number of workshops addressing best-practices in education, how to market programs and education, techniques to disseminate education beyond traditional methods, the ways-and-means to start new programs, and more! Check back often for information on the workshops and schedules.
Attendees should register using the downloadable form and then mailing the completed form and payment to the Houston Squadron. Registration forms will also be available from the D21 Bridge Officers. Lodging accommodations and reservations are handled by you, the attendee. The preferred hotel for the Fall Conference is the Comfort Inn & Suites – Westpark, just a few miles from Home Port. Amenities include premium free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast, an outdoor pool and much more. The hotel rates are excellent, there is no special code to get a room discount. Rooms can be booked here.
The D21 Conference (official business) will be in the Tuscany Room of the hotel. The workshops will be at Home Port and the Tuscany Room. Lunches and dinners will be at Home Port, the Tuscany Room and a local restaurant.
