This class covers the Marine Communication Systems Course.
It will be taught every Thursday night, on the listed schedule. The first dates are instruction, followed by an overall review, and finally the exam. If you cannot make it to one or more of the instruction dates, you should be okay. Please plan on attending the review and exam dates, as they must be done in person.
If there is interest in MF/HF radio, an optional 2-hour addition to the class will be offered the week after the exam. About 20-pages of reading are involved; includes available communications devices, benefits, antenna systems, and non-voice and digital communications. We will do the homework at the conclusion of the class.
Special Note: The Squadron has great success with blended learning (in-person and teleconference). This course will offer a teleconference option for those who cannot attend in person. The Instructor and SEO will work with everyone, and if teleconference is preferred, then that will be the mechanism of delivery!
