This class covers the Marine Engine Maintenance course.  It will be taught on the listed schedule.  The first 5 dates are instruction, followed by an overall review, and finally the exam.  If you cannot make it to one or more of the instruction dates, you should be okay.  Reading the book and completing the end-of-chapter assessment exams is essential to this course.  Please plan on attending the exam date, as it must be done in person.

There will be a hands-on workshop (to be scheduled with the students and instructor) to dig into an outboard engine.  There may be an additional (elective) workshop to visit several larger vessels to see their power systems.

Note:  The students and instructor will determine if the review and the exam date will be concurrent, and the day it will happen.  There are options for remote examinations.
