Purse Bingo

Event Phone: (281) 772-7802

The Wreaths Across America story began 30+ years ago when Worcester Wreath Company began a tradition of placing wreaths on the headstones of our Nation’s fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. From those beginnings, the tradition has spread to every National Cemetery in the Nation in honor of all who served in our Military.

To support this mission, the Houston Squadron is participating in the annual event in Houston called “Purse Bingo”. It’s time to get that purse upgrade and help Wreaths Across America-Houston at the same time. Come enjoy an evening of dinner and drinks with friends and family of the Squadron, and then play Bingo for a chance to win one of 20+ purses!  Each game winner is awarded one of the great sponsored purses, and there are some great door prizes as well. The proceeds from the evening will all go to fund wreath purchases for Wreaths Across America-Houston this December.

Two tables (20 seats) are always purchased.  If you want to reserve your seat at the table ($50 per seat), you must contact and pay Monica Cross.  Contact her at monica.abch@gmail.com or (281) 772-7802.  Seats are first-come, first-served.  Monica can also take electronic payments.  We can add a table if we start to exceed the limit already purchased. Monica is taking seat reservations now.

Each year there is a table theme and attendees with the Houston Squadron can decide what and how to decorate our tables!   Costumes reflecting the table theme is encouraged, but not required.

Dinner is served by Lupe Tortilla, and there are a plethora of homemade deserts and ice cream.  All beverages (coffee, tea, soft drinks) are free, the alcoholic beverages are nominally priced.  Each table is also gifted several bottles of wine and/or spirits from local winery’s and distillers.
