The Mariner’s Compass
Welcome to the Seminar!
A mariner’s compass is important equipment that is needed on every boat. This seminar is intended to teach you how the mariner’s compass works. It discusses the possible compass errors, explains how to determine what the actual errors are with your compass, and how to minimize them. Most importantly, it explains how to take remaining errors into account while operating your boat. The use of the compass in finding your way on the water is taught in courses for near-shore and offshore navigation.
Everyone is invited to listen to the seminar.
Credit (and certificate) is issued to paid participants.
Teleconference details will be emailed to all registrants.
Individuals may be interested in the “Mariners Compass Guide” that can be ordered online at the Ship’s Store.
This reduced-rate seminar is only being offered for a short time!
