Update on the Fund Drive for Home Port

The end is in sight thanks to the generous donations of individuals, Squadrons and District 21. The heavily damaged kitchen area is repaired and awaiting the final painting and installation of a cabinet. The slightly damaged Library area and hallway are completed. Thanks to your generosity, the front entrance training room is now a welcoming area for meetings, education and greeting; the main training room (downstairs) is completely reworked with superior lighting. Our final tasks are to redo the restrooms and complete the floor covering.

The Houston Squadron members are thankful to everyone who donated and all those who offered “best wishes” and kept us in their mind. The Squadron does good work at Home Port, and it will continue unabated. In a short while, there will be a weekend-long open house for those who want to come and see the improvements!
