National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) - Federal site for charting, weather, and other resources. They have a wealth of information on their site such as: Nautical Charts • Weather • Tide Info • Galveston Bay • WaveWatch
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department - State site for the department helpful to all outdoor activities.
American Canoe Association - Our squadron has partnered with ACA for our Kayaking classes and our Standup Paddleboard course. It's a great way to learn the fastest growing boating sport!
United States Coast Guard - We share a rich history with the USCG. Today we partner with them through grants to deliver boater safety training. They have extensive information on their Navigation Center such as Local Notices to Mariners.
National Safe Boating Council - Members across United States Power Squadrons come out in droves to support National Safe Boating Week, Ready, Set, Wear It! and other NSBC programs.
US Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District - Our area district that works to keep our waterways navigable. We are proud to be a Water Safety Partner of theirs.
National Geodetic Survey (NGS) - This NOAA service provides the framework for all positioning activities in the Nation. The foundational elements of latitude, longitude, elevation, and shoreline information impact a wide range of important activities.
